Blocking/Jumping drill:
three people at net (each ~15 feet apart) each with a ball.
line of people on other side of net.
people at net hold a ball up. [with chairs if necc.]
first person in line runs to net. jumps up and grabs the ball
from net person, then gives the ball back under the net.
jumping person moves quickly to next person on net, jumps, grabs
ball gives it back under net ... etc.
when the jumping person gets to the third person at the net,
the next person in line also moves to get the ball from the 1st net
person. once the third jump is done, return to the end of the line.
If you don't grab the ball .. too bad, move on.
The line repeats three times, then new ball holders are assigned.
(first 3 in line. Ball holders move to end)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Side to side lateral drill:
Everyone lines up along a line // to side of court (and perp. to net)
on both sides of the net if necc. but all facing the net
one person (at the net) points to either direction
immediately everyone moves laterally to the side line in the given
direction, touches the line, and moves back to the center position.
The person indicating the direction may participate by simply moving
in a direction and the rest are to follow.
